Ivo Tudor Broje, tenor

Ivo Tudor Broje was born on 2 August 1989 in Split. He completed his primary and secondary education in Hvar. After graduating from Hotel and Tourism Vocational Secondary School in Hvar, he enrolled at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija. His interest in music began at an early age in school sections, but he started taking singing and music seriously at the age of 15 while he was a member of the Cathedral Choir St. Cecilia in Hvar, with a number of notable performances both as a choral and solo singer. At the same time, he started practicing with Klapa Galešnik and actively singing in Klapa Velik Kamik form the village of Svirče, as well as in Hvar Mixed Choir. At that time he also started playing bass guitar in the vocal and instrumental ensemble Stvoreni. After starting university and moving to Rijeka in autumn 2009, he entered the school of church music, which operates within Archdiocese of Rijeka. Also, he continued to sing with different klapa groups in Rijeka, most notable being the student klapa Kantaduri from Rijeka, with whom, among other things, he performed at the festival of student choirs in Novi Sad. In 2012 he enrolled in solo singing course at Ivan Matetić – Ronjgov Music School in Rijeka, in the class of professor Ariana Bossi, and in the same year, after completing preparatory classes, he continued his musical journey in the Secondary School of Music Mirković in Opatija, in the class of Professor Branka Ristić. In the same year he joined the Youth Choir Josip Kaplan from Rijeka, with whom he made several notable performances, the most notable ones being winning the TV competition Last Choir Standing, performance at Porin Music Awards, at the Cro Patria competition in Croatian National Theatre in Split, performance at Arena in Pula along with Vinko Coce and other renowned names of Croatian music scene, as well as performances in Tivoli Hall in Ljubljana and the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb as a part of the Crossover Trilogy project with Tony Cetinski, accompanied by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Ivo Lipanović. In 2016, he started singing with Klapa Pharia, while in 2017, he performed for the first time as a solo singer with his colleague Dario Belić.
